The Best of Both Worlds

With our investment in Fujifilm medium format, the GFX 100s, you can now request that we capture vivid memories of your wedding day in breathtaking details that replicate the dreamy look and feel of analog film while having the advantage of modern digital technology.

Modern Digital

We are proud to offer an immersive photography experience that combines the best of both analog and digital for our future clients who seek a more vintage style. This breakthrough was achieved by a team of Fujifilm engineers, with 85 years of research in color imaging, who created film simulations to match the chemistry and color science of Fujifilm's film stocks.

Digital cameras are capable of much higher sensitivity to light and the autofocus can perform better in very low light situations. Film provides a classic look, impressive high levels of detail and depth. It can capture skin tones, grains, and colors more beautifully and a richer tonality.

Telling Your Story in Vivid Detail

For the discerning bride

There is an inherent beauty in sharing the experiences and memories we create with loved ones. We align with couples who value the elegance of film photography. Those who love to create timeless photos while spending time with friends and family without worrying on complicated lists of poses. Request a discovery call with us to discuss the possibility of adding our world-class "digital film" service to your wedding day.

Etherial colors, grittiness of grain, detailed highlights and shadows — we love the soft and natural look that we're able to achieve from using a hybrid analog + digital system.

We use Fujifilm to create remarkably detailed images that reach further and deeper into scenes to reveal amazing color fidelity and rich shadow detail, all with enough dynamic range to allow for astonishing push and pull adjustments in post-production, obtaining similar effects of real film in a dark room.

Naturalistic image quality

Photography is a practice of pursuing perfection, a continual balance between searching for quality and having total control that allows for the perfect image to exist between the moments that are seen and unseen.

Real life moments unfolding in front of our cameras is a magical recipe that preserves your memories in a timeless way. It expresses the importance of your history and heritage through colors and textures.

Prioritizing Speed

Each image has to be carefully thought out before pressing the shutter, this is what makes photography so unique and exciting. Although there is a pressure to get the shot without second guessing. With our medium format digital we have the ability to capture more than the typical 16 exposures, and — instead of having to stop and change film — we can continue taking photographs in a fast paced environment.

Offsetting our carbon footprint

Speaking of which, the chemicals used in film photography can be harmful to the environment if they are not disposed of properly. These chemicals include developers, fixers, bleaches, and stops, which can contaminate water sources, harm aquatic life, and contribute to air pollution.

For example, fixers often contain silver, which can be toxic to the environment if it ends up in water systems. Film photography generates plastic trash that often can't be recycled, this is why we prefer a digital medium format.

Film Color Science

Fujifilm’s legacy has helped create one of the most widely-acclaimed digital color science in the world.

Today, we are able to take advantage of this incredible reproduction to achieve our artistic vision — true to life colors that our clients desire.

In-house editing

The chances of something going wrong with your images has been minimized. It is no longer necessary to send rolls of film to a photo lab and risk shipments being lost in the mail. We back up your precious memories in multiple ways during the process.

Medium format digital has an amazing look and feel that replicates film.

Your photos are very precious to us

You can relax knowing that at every event a backup copy is created the same instant the shutter button is pressed. This is a technological advancement that all film cameras simply cannot do. Plus we always bring extra equipment just in case.
